The wedding will take place on Tuesday, December 8, 2026, at Hotel Tamarindo Diria in Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone.

There are two main international airports in Costa Rica:
Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in Liberia
Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José
We strongly recommend flying into Liberia (LIR), as it is much closer to Hotel Tamarindo Diria (approximately a 1.5-hour drive). San José (SJO) is about a 4.5–5.5 hour drive from the hotel.
-
For an additional cost, Hotel Tamarindo Diria offers transportation options to and from the airport. Please check the Travel & Lodging tab for pricing and details.
-
We have secured a room block at Hotel Tamarindo Diria, where all wedding events will take place.
Address: Calle Central, Guanacaste Province, Tamarindo, 50309, Costa Rica
We highly recommend staying at the hotel for convenience and proximity to the celebrations.

While we love your little ones, our wedding events will be Adults-Only. We want you to relax and enjoy your time in Costa Rica. Thank you for making arrangements in advance!
We also understand that traveling without children isn’t always possible. If you plan to bring your kids to Costa Rica, Hotel Tamarindo Diria recommends the following childcare services. Please refer to the pricing details here and visit their website for additional information.

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. Due to venue capacity, our celebration is limited to those formally invited. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be indicated on your invitation or RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.

Early December in Guanacaste marks the start of the dry season, meaning mostly sunshine and warm temperatures. You can expect daytime highs around 29-32°C (85-90°F) and evenings that are comfortably warm, usually around 24°C (75°F).
Rain is uncommon but possible since it’s the transition from the rainy season so a light jacket for evenings and a small umbrella just in case are good ideas. Also, as the weather can be unpredictable at times, we recommend looking up the forecast a week before to help with your packing.

Costa Rica’s official currency is the Costa Rican Colón (₡), but U.S. dollars are widely accepted, especially in Tamarindo. Major credit and debit cards are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and shops (Visa and Mastercard are most common). ATMs are available in town if you prefer local currency for tips or small purchases, though many travelers and visitors find U.S. dollars convenient.
